Dr. Manfred Elkemann-Reusch

 

Dr. Manfred Elkemann-Reusch, lawyer and associated partner*, studied law in Bielefeld and Bonn and completed his doctorate in Erlangen on a corporate law topic under Prof. Dr Georg Crezelius.

Dr. Elkemann-Reusch began his professional career in 1997 as an in-house lawyer at the auditing firm Warth & Klein Grant Thornton AG. He was then responsible for equity financing at IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG and for corporate law and M&A in the bank’s group legal department. In 2006, he switched to legal advice and, after many years as a lawyer at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft and Grant Thornton Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft, among others, has been working at PONTES since January 2024.

Dr. Elkemann-Reusch specialises in advising shareholder tribes and entrepreneurial families on corporate law issues and disputes as well as on the implementation of corporate governance issues at the family business level, in particular the implementation of advisory boards. A further focus of his work is the (corporate) legal support of reorganisations of family businesses as well as the support of private equity and M&A transactions, in particular for single family offices.
