Hannah Berger, LL.M. (NYU)

Lawyer and Senior Manager Hannah Berger studied law at Ludwig Maximilians University Munich, Université Jean Moulin Lyon III and New York University School of Law. During her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich, she worked, amongst others, at a commercial law boutique in Sydney.

After positions as a lawyer at the international law firms White & Case in the Litigation practice group in Berlin and Taylor Wessing in the Private Clients practice group in Dusseldorf and Munich, she joined the PONTES Tax & Law team in 2026.

Hannah Berger’s practice focuses on inheritance law and family law. She advises entrepreneurial families and high-net-worth individuals on their succession planning, particularly on the drafting of wills, inheritance contracts as well as inter vivos transfers of assets, often at the interface with corporate law. She also represents clients in inheritance disputes and estate administrations. In family law, she advises in particular on drafting prenuptial agreements and divorce settlement agreements. Her advisory work regularly involves matters with an international context.
